What happens if you add yeast to the cheesecake dough?

The weekend is a great excuse to start a culinary experiment in the kitchen and prepare cheesecakes according to a new recipe. Let's tell you what will happen if you add a little yeast to the dough for cheesecakes.

To prepare you will need:

  • 400 g of sour cream;
  • 1 egg;
  • 1 tsp. vanilla sugar;
  • 4 tbsp. sugar;
  • 1 tsp. dry yeast;
  • 50 ml of milk;
  • 50 g of raisins;
  • 100 g of flour;
  • vegetable oil.

How to cook

In a bowl, mix the cottage cheese, egg, granulated sugar and vanilla sugar, then mix until a homogeneous mass is formed.

Put a spoonful of sugar in warm milk and dissolve the yeast. When ready, add a couple of spoons of flour and after 5-7 minutes, pour the dough into the cottage cheese mass, add flour, raisins and knead the dough.

Heat the pan, oil and spread the cheesecakes on the pan like pancakes. Fry over medium heat on both sides. To get rid of excess oil, place the cheesecakes on a plate lined with a paper napkin.

Serve with sour cream or jam. Enjoy!
