What happens to the body after a hearty dinner

We all remember the wisdom that dinner must be given to the enemy. It turns out that the habit of eating a lot in the evening causes a whole cascade of events in our body.
Poor appetite in the morning. Eating too much in the evening can cause a lack of appetite the next morning, which will lead to skipping breakfast. And this is the most important meal of the day.
Diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. If you constantly get large portions of food at night, digestion will be disturbed, and over time this can lead to gastrointestinal diseases – gastritis, stomach ulcers, enteritis, constipation and even colon cancer.
Increased heart rate. Due to overeating, the heart must work more intensively than usual to digest food which can lead to an increased heart rate. Eating in the evening can also cause an increase in blood pressure. Eating high-calorie meals after 6:00 p.m. increases the risk of high blood pressure and blood sugar levels that threaten type 2 diabetes.
Poor sleep. Heavy dinners interfere with a good night's sleep. Lack of sleep, in turn, can affect how you feel the next day. And this will cause stress and fatigue in the morning.
Acute pancreatitis. Overeating can increase the risk of acute pancreatitis in people with gallstones. Sometimes a sudden outbreak of acute pancreatitis leads to a fatal outcome.
