What is recommended to be added to the water for watering carrots to increase the yield

Experienced summer residents are not limited to using only water when watering carrots.

They mix one simple remedy into it and thanks to this they get a rich harvest of sweet root vegetables.

During the entire growing season, gardeners water carrots twice with water with the addition of table salt.

Thanks to sodium chloride, the absorption of nutrients by carrots from the soil is accelerated.

Slightly salted water scares away pests that harm the future harvest. And the fruits themselves become sweeter.

Thanks to this simple remedy, carrot rotting is eliminated, which many summer residents face during harvest.

Prepare a solution for irrigation as follows: 10 liters of water are mixed with 1 tbsp. l. salt. Mix the product thoroughly in the water until completely dissolved.

Before using salted water, make sure that the soil is moistened. The salt concentration is insignificant, so there will be no harm to carrots.

By following simple rules for growing and caring for carrots, you can get an excellent harvest of juicy, tasty and sweet carrots.
