According to therapist Kateryna Mayorova, consuming sea buckthorn, raspberry, or dogwood jam can be useful in winter.
The doctor said that in moderate quantities and in the absence of individual contraindications, sea buckthorn jam can have a beneficial effect on the body during the season of activated infections. Mayorova noted that sea buckthorn jam has antibacterial properties.
Speaking about the benefits of raspberry jam, the doctor said that it helps the body fight against acute respiratory viral infections, acting as a natural antibiotic.
“Raspberry jam contains substances that have a bactericidal and diaphoretic effect, reduces fever, relieves chills, and helps the body recover,” said Kateryna Mayorova.
The specialist also pointed out the positive properties of dogwood jam – helping to normalize blood pressure, helping to recover from stress. Dogwood is also useful for preventing cardiovascular pathologies and gastrointestinal problems.
