Scientists state that the hot liquid irritates the sensitive mucous membranes of the mouth and throat, and in the long run it can lead to minor injuries and inflammation. But as soon as the DNA of the cells is damaged, the malignant process will begin to develop.
Scientists observed the eating habits of more than 50,000 people aged 40 to 75 for four years, then followed the health of these people for another ten years. During this period, esophageal cancer was diagnosed in 317 people, most patients had the habit of drinking tea with a temperature of more than 60 degrees.
How to drink hot tea. According to scientists, all drinks that used, must be below 60 degrees (Celsius), and to stay safe, you must follow the rule “always give hot coffee or tea 4 minutes to cool before drinking”.

In China, a prospective observational study by Peking University showed that drinking hot drinks in combination with smoking is a particularly dangerous risk factor for the disease.
