What the explosions in Crimea mean, and what's next, an expert said

As a result of a successful operation by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense (GUR MO) of Ukraine on the territory of the Crimean peninsula, expensive radar complexes of the Russian occupiers were hit. We can say that this is another stage of the demilitarization of Crimea.

Such an opinion was expressed on the air of the FREEDOM TV channel by the spokesman for the Ukrainian Volunteer Army “Pivden” Serhiy Bratchuk.

“The next stage of demilitarization is taking place in the general process of deoccupation of Crimea. It involves the destruction of control points, air defense systems and other targets. In order to clear the Crimean sky for further strikes on the enemy’s logistics, on its resources, which will allow depriving the grouping of Russian troops on the territory of temporarily occupied Crimea of the material support that it has,” the speaker noted.

Bratchuk recalled that Crimea is a large military hub for the southern groupings of Russian occupation troops on the territory of Ukraine.

“Therefore, in any case, the destruction of these radar systems, radio-technical facilities, strikes directly on the launchers are very important,” the guest of the broadcast said.

He also added that not all operations conducted by the Ukrainian military in Crimea can be discussed today.

“Some operations continue for several stages. And, quite possibly, we will learn about it later. At least, such work, as far as I know, is ongoing. Yes, we want it faster, we want more. This is understandable, but the work is very difficult. But, I think, there will really be more news from Crimea. Again, we are talking about priorities. And Crimea always remains practically the number one item on the agenda of the Defense Forces,” Bratchuk summarized.
