The study was conducted on mice. Experts studied various markers of fat metabolism and analyzed which genes were active after exercise.
It turned out that morning exercise increased the expression of genes involved in the breakdown of adipose tissue, indicating a higher metabolism.
The researchers suggest that morning exercise may be more effective in increasing metabolism and burning fat than evening exercise.
