What to add to pasta to keep it from sticking together

Even a child can handle making pasta. It would seem that there are no secrets to this simple dish. It is enough to boil water, salt it and throw spaghetti or horns into a saucepan.

To taste a truly delicious side dish, in which each pasta is easily separated from the next, you should use one little trick.

After you throw the pasta into a colander to let the water drain, add a couple of tablespoons of vegetable oil to it.

Stir the spaghetti right in the colander so that the fat envelops each piece. Such pasta will not stick together even after cooling.

If you run out of vegetable oil, you can replace it with a creamy analogue. Meanwhile, transfer the drained pasta back to the pan, add a dash of oil and, turning on a low heat, stir until the oil dissolves.

Then turn off the stove and leave the pasta for 5-6 minutes under the closed lid, and then mix well again.
