What ingredients to add to sour cream
To turn a fermented milk product into an alternative to mayonnaise, you will need two ingredients: a boiled egg and mustard.
As for the first component, the protein is not needed: you only need to take the yolk, and then grind it thoroughly.
It is desirable that the yellow ingredient be solid: it should turn out to be a powder, not a “watery” one. Thus, the yolk should only be extracted from an egg that has been previously hard-boiled.
But mustard should not be used in dry form, but in a paste form. 1 tsp. of this component is enough for a plate of sour cream.
Thorough mixing of all ingredients will result in a sauce that, unlike mayonnaise, is more natural and delicate.
