What to add to the soil so that garlic grows big
0
Garlic is considered an undemanding plant, so the harvest is ensured even when grown on soil that does not differ in fertility. However, if the composition of the soil is approached in a certain way, then the yield can be made even higher. In addition, the quality of vegetables will improve: they will grow larger.
How to change the composition of the soil
It should be noted right away that the rapid growth and development of the spicy plant in the garden is facilitated by peat.
It is this rock that needs to be added to the soil cover (of course, if this component is lacking).
At the same time, you cannot limit yourself to one peat. Another loose rock will be needed. And this is sand.
It is important to add a sufficient amount of the above-mentioned “ingredients” to the soil. However, it is not necessary to overdo it.
Two buckets of peat and half a bucket of sand component should be used per square meter of the plot.
The result of such a change in the composition of the soil in the garden should be an increase in the yield of garlic and an increase in the size of vegetables .
