What to cook from frozen eggplants: a quick snack

If you have frozen eggplant, great. You can make a delicious snack from them. And now we will talk not about caviar, but about something else. Take a recipe for yourself in the culinary piggy bank. Eggplant pate with nuts and greens. Of course, this can be prepared not only from frozen vegetables, but also from fresh ones, which is even better.

Ingredients

The following products are needed for preparation:

  • eggplants – 3 pcs.;
  • onions – 1 pc.;
  • walnuts – 0.5 glass;
  • hot adjika – 2 tsp;
  • garlic – 2 cloves;
  • garlic – 2 cloves;

How to cook

Eggplants must be defrosted. Prick with a fork in several places. Wrap in foil and put in the oven for 40 minutes at 200 degrees. Ready eggplants should be cooled and the skin removed from them. Now they need to be chopped with a knife.

Nuts should be dried in a dry pan or keep them in the oven at a temperature of 180 degrees for 5-7 minutes.

Onions should be chopped. Add nuts to it. Fry everything together for 1-2 minutes. Season with salt and a little ground black pepper. Add parsley. About 3 tbsp. Fry everything together for another 5-7 minutes. Add spicy adjika.

Transfer the finished nut-onion mixture to a bowl. Mix garlic passed through a press into it. Grind with a blender to a more homogeneous consistency. It is recommended to send the finished paste to the refrigerator for several hours so that it infuses and stabilizes. Delicious!
