What to do before planting garlic to protect against rot

The peculiarities of planting garlic and onions are accompanied by the preparation of planting material. If you do not do everything in accordance with the requirements of agricultural technology, the result will be negative: garlic and onions in the garden will most likely rot.
What needs to be done
Preventing premature rot and increasing resistance to its appearance and development will help. For this purpose, various preparations and means are used:
- in a solution of the drug “Fundazol”;
- in salt (1 tbsp. per 2 liters of water);
- in copper sulfate (1 tbsp. per 2 liters of water);
- in a solution of Trichoderma or hay stick.
Trichoderma or hay stick treatment is considered biologically safe. It helps protect against fusarium and gray rot. Please note that garlic should be disassembled immediately before planting and soaking, and not in advance.
