What to do if the lower leaves of cucumbers start to turn yellow

Any change in the color of the leaves of cucumbers is a symptom that signals undesirable processes.
You cannot ignore this sign, because the sooner you start correcting the situation, the easier and faster the problem will be solved.
Here is the problem that occurs in cucumbers that have recently been planted in a permanent place: the lowest leaves (not cotyledons, but the real ones that follow them) change color, turn yellow.
Summer residents record an unpleasant yellowness and marbling: the veins on the leaves retain their green color (although pale), and the tissue between them has shades of yellow.
The main reason for this phenomenon is cold and a lack of nutrition caused by weather conditions.
If the reason is the influence of cold, then you need to fertilize with any complex fertilizer that contains nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in approximately equal amounts, for example, nitrophoska.
For magnesium starvation, potassium magnesia is used, but provided that there is no excess potassium. If there are such suspicions, magnesium sulfate (magnesium sulfate) is used.
The standard scheme for preparing mineral fertilizers: 2-3 tbsp. l. fertilizer per 10 l of water. 1 l of solution for one plant. Top dressing is applied after watering with ordinary water, on moist soil. For foliar application, the fertilizer dose is reduced by 2 times. The exception is potassium monophosphate.
