To check the documents of conscripts on the streets of populated areas of Ukraine, alert groups of territorial recruitment centers work.
Members of these groups have the right not only to check the documents of conscripts, but also to seize them. However, the law does not allow the seizure of all documents.
What documents can be seized by the TCC
TCC employees have the right to seize only those documents that are related to military records. These are:
- military ID card;
- attribution certificate;
- temporary certificate of conscript;
- other documents confirming suitability for military service.
TCC employees do not have the right to seize a driver's license during a document check.
If this happens, a citizen has the right to file a complaint against the actions of the alert group TCC to the prosecutor's office or court.
