What to do to make exercise enjoyable and improve health: the Ministry of Health gave advice

In order for physical exercises to bring pleasure and strengthen the body, it is necessary to choose the type of activity that you like the most and make the exercises regular.
This was emphasized on Facebook by the Public Health Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. You can do, for example, running, walking in the fresh air, yoga, dancing or choose among many others.
For those who do not know where to start their recovery, the Center has provided examples of weekly schedules of physical activity, distributed at different levels:
1. Moderate-intensity activity and muscle-strengthening activities
- 5 times a week — 30 minutes of brisk walking;
- 2 times a week — strength training.< /li>
- Total: 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic exercise + 2 days of muscle-strengthening exercises.
2. High-intensity activity and muscle-strengthening activities
- 3 times a week — 25 minutes of jogging;
- 2 times a week — strength training;< /li>
- Total: 75 minutes of high-intensity aerobic exercise + 2 days of muscle-strengthening exercises.
3. A combination of moderate, high-intensity and muscle-strengthening activity
- 3 times a week — 30 minutes of brisk walking;
- 2 times a week — 15 minutes jogging;
- 2 times a week — strength training.
- Together: the equivalent of 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity + 2 days of muscle-strengthening classes.
Also, the Center noted that physical activity that requires moderate effort is usually safe for most people, but it is necessary to consult a doctor in the presence of chronic diseases.
