Looking for an alternative to regular vinaigrette oil? Instead, try a light, aromatic dressing that will add freshness and lightness to the dish, while preserving its classic taste. The vinaigrette will taste new!
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons of yogurt or sour cream
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice or apple vinegar
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp honey
- Salt, pepper to taste
Mix all ingredients in a small bowl until smooth. Yogurt or sour cream create a light consistency that goes well with beets and potatoes, making the salad less greasy. And the addition of honey gives a gentle sweetness, instead, lemon juice or apple cider vinegar adds a slight sourness. Mustard, in turn, gives depth of taste.
Instead of heavy oil, this dressing will make your vinaigrette fresh and aromatic, and at the same time will not add extra calories.
