What you absolutely should not do to geraniums if their leaves dry out in winter
1
In winter, plants require less care than in other seasons and during the flowering period. However, this does not mean that geraniums simply stand in a corner and no one moves them. Due to changes in the microclimate, dry air, and low humidity, the leaves of the plant may begin to dry. In order not to worsen the condition of the plant, you need to know what not to do in such cases.
Dark corner. Do not put geraniums or pelargoniums in a dark place. This plant needs light. If you want to watch the plant develop and bud, then it needs at least 12 hours of light. In winter, the need for this factor remains.
Warm room. Do not put geranium in a warm room with batteries. If the temperature rises to 25-27 degrees, the plant will begin to dry out. It is optimal that it is no higher than +20 degrees. If necessary, ventilate the room more often. To avoid temperature changes with an open window or balcony, cover the plant.
Frequent watering. In winter, you need to reduce the number of waterings. You do not need to keep it completely dry, but you also need to water it often. Geranium does not like frequent watering. It would be nice to periodically turn on a humidifier in the room. This would maintain the moisture level, but without the need for frequent watering.
