Many people think that you need to drink warm milk for a restful sleep, but there is one product that helps even better. These are kiwis.
“Kiwis naturally contain serotonin, a neurotransmitter that, at low levels, can negatively affect sleep quality. In one study, people who ate two kiwis an hour before bed for four weeks experienced an increase in total sleep time and sleep efficiency,” said nutritionist and medical expert Lauren Manaker.
Because kiwis naturally contain fiber , eating them can also promote satiety, helping you sleep through the night without pangs of hunger, says Manaker. You can eat them separately, cut them into yogurt or add them to a night smoothie.
