When can you get pregnant after cesarean section

If a woman has undergone a cesarean section, it is better for her to wait with a new conception and pregnancy. The body must be given the opportunity to fully recover.
Caesarean section is becoming an increasingly popular method of childbirth, as it relieves the woman of pain during childbirth. Planned cesarean sections are becoming more common, and the level of emergency operations is also increasing.
The recovery process after these manipulations takes quite a long time. Sometimes young mothers are faced with heavy bleeding, infections or injuries of the bladder, which endanger their health.
Doctors advise to wait at least 6 weeks after cesarean section before sexual intercourse. If it does not cause pain, then sexual intercourse can be smoothly returned to the level that suits both partners.
But giving up contraceptives and trying to conceive a child after cesarean section is not recommended for 6-18 months after childbirth. The more time you give to the recovery and healing of the body, the lower the risk of complications.
But if the partners nevertheless conceived a child before the recommended term, the pregnancy can still be healthy. However, it is necessary to pay more attention to prenatal care. This means that you should meet with a doctor more often and undergo the necessary preventive examinations.
