Small appetizing fish in one jar are often bought for the festive table and for making sandwiches for breakfast. The question arises what to do with the oil left over from sprat. There is an option for how to properly use the oil so that you don't have to throw it away.

Add sprat oil to soup, which will give the dish additional piquancy and a unique taste.
Fish is fried in this oil, it is added to the filling for fish pies. The oil will come in handy to enhance the taste of pickled herring.
Instead of mayonnaise, sprat oil is added to the fish salad – it will turn out even tastier.
For the sprat oil sauce, you will need 1 egg, salt, sugar, mustard and oil:
- Whisk the yolk with mustard, salt and sugar with a whisk;
- Pour the sprat oil into a bowl, add oil in equal proportions.
- Combine all the ingredients and whisk with a whisk;
- Add lemon juice to the sauce and mix thoroughly.
