As for the question of which of the cheeses is the most useful, according to Chelsey Amer, nutritionist and owner of Chelsey Amer Nutrition, there is no clear answer. In general, she recommended cottage cheese because it is high in saturated fat, protein, and low in sodium. Among other similar options, the expert singled out mozzarella and ricotta.
An excess of any cheese can harm your health. However, many cheeses are particularly different from each other in terms of protein, sodium, and fat content. Therefore, when choosing, focus more on the taste of the product and on the inner satisfaction from it.
The least processed (and therefore the least harmful) varieties of cheese include: goat cheese, feta cheese, ricotta cheese, sour milk cheese. And if you do not know what is the best thing to take for a sandwich, then take fresh mozzarella. It has a lot of protein, calcium and even less sodium than other cheeses.
