Unfortunately, some animals may wake up due to a sharp increase in temperature, which will force them to spend precious energy. Let's look at how you can help animals and insects in the garden during the winter.
Who might need help?
- Hedgehog. You can pour water and add dog or cat food until the animal stops eating.
- Butterflies. It is better to take them outside or to a cold room, from where they can fly out in the spring to settle on their own.
- Frogs. Cover it with a thick layer of dry leaves.
- Bumblebees. Feed them syrup so that the insect has energy to find a new place.
- Bats. If you want to provide them with wintering, you will have to contact specialists.
