Why a person sleeps too long: the reason can be two violations

A person may feel a physical need for too long a night's sleep, lasting more than 9 hours, and certain health problems are often hidden behind this.

What makes a person sleep too long?

Experts of the foundation state: in addition to unhealthy sleep hygiene, excessive sleep can be the result of a number of disorders. One of them is hypothyroidism, characterized by an underactive thyroid gland.

Another possible cause of oversleeping is depression and anxiety. Doctors tend to classify the degree of depression depending on the impact it has on a person's daily life: they distinguish between mild, moderate and severe stages.

Symptoms of this disorder include the following conditions.
