If in the morning you drink water from a glass left by the bed the day before, it can make you feel sick in an unexpected way and even make you feel nauseous.
Are you one of those people who puts a glass of water by your bed at night, takes two or three sips before bed and drinks the rest the next morning? German experts warn of the dangers of such a habit.
The magazine published an explanation by epidemiologists about why a glass of water left by the bed can cause nausea.
“The problem is that that water that is in an open glass for long hours becomes bad. During the night, dust particles and bacteria accumulate in such water,” medical experts warn.
Also, according to them, various insects can land on the glass and on the surface of the water at night, capable of leaving their eggs or feces in it. For this reason, water ceases to be useful for your health in the morning.
Experts strongly advise against drinking from a glass that has been left open by the bed all night.
Here is their advice: use a small glass bottle that can be closed.
