Why can't you grow an avocado from a seed?

The most popular product recently is avocado – not only tasty, but also very healthy. It contains a large amount of easily digestible monounsaturated fats and at the same time has no cholesterol. That's probably why many people would like to have such a tree at home.

Details

If you tried to sprout an avocado from a stone, but the attempt ended in failure, you should find out why.

First of all, remember that the avocado fruit whose stone you are going to use must be healthy and ripe.

If, when removing the cherished seed, you damaged the outer brown shell, you should not expect a sprout.

The narrow part of the stone should face upwards. Pierce it with three toothpicks and place it over a container of water so that the lower part is immersed in the liquid. After that, place the container on the windowsill.

Do not forget to change the water. This should be done once every five days. If you did everything correctly, sprouts will appear within four weeks.
