Why do “cunning” gardeners not throw away banana peels

After eating a banana, the inedible peel remains. In the absolute majority of cases, it is sent to the trash can as food waste. However, sometimes it makes sense to keep the peel, especially if the fruit lover is also a gardener. The fact is that effective nutrition can be made on the basis of a banana peel. However, other ingredients will be needed for the remedy.

How to prepare nutrition

You need to turn the banana peel into a powder. To do this, the peel of four fruits should be dried and sent to a food processor together with the shells of three eggs.

The resulting loose mass should be transferred to another container, and then a tablespoon of magnesium should be added to it.

After adding a sufficiently large volume of clean liquid, you will get top dressing, which should be used on the flower bed.

There are two options for application. This is how you can sprinkle garden crops with drops of the prepared product. And you can water under the root.

Results

The plant will receive a considerable amount of important trace elements and nutrients. First of all, it is potassium, the source of which is the banana peel. In addition, the peel together with the shell will increase the calcium content in the soil.

As a result, the plant will not face a shortage of the necessary components in the soil and will show good growth.
