One way to extend the shelf life of food is freezing. But it is better not to store fried food in the freezer.
Why is it not recommended to put fried food in the freezer? The thing is that fried food, in principle, does not tolerate freezing and thawing well. Because of this, it loses both its aesthetic appearance and taste. When heated, the consistency can also be disturbed: the food will become too soft.
Due to vegetable oil, when defrosting fried food, you may encounter diarrhea, stomach pains and more serious illnesses.
The following products should never be in the freezer. These are French fries, fried food, mayonnaise, juicy fruits (e.g. apples), citrus fruits, melons, sprouts, puddings, pasta and cooked rice, pudding cakes, soda, homogenized cheeses, eggs, sour cream, canned fish.
The temperature in the freezer should be -18⁰C. Also, the products that you are going to freeze should be packaged: it would be good if they were freezer bags.
