Fungicide is popular, but there are questions about its correct use for plants. There are several reasons why it is better not to use it in the spring. Experts named the following:

• high humidity;
• violation of soil structure;
• risk for the environment.

Spring is characterized by high humidity, which in combination with iron sulfate increases the risk of mold formation. Frequent use of the fungicide is not recommended, because it negatively affects the soil and plant growth in excessive amounts.

In the spring, the groundwater level rises. Getting iron sulfate into water bodies is undesirable, because it pollutes them. Therefore, it is better to use safer fungicides in the spring.
