Love a chocolate tan? Did you know that it is harmful not only for the skin, but also for the body?
Chocolate tan lovers are probably upset right now, but you are warned, so you are armed. And it's always better to know what you're risking.
“Long-term exposure to the sun, even with a good sunscreen, can cause exacerbation of skin and autoimmune diseases, leads to premature aging,” says the expert.
In addition, tanning does not have a positive effect on the health of the mammary glands. If you already have mastopathy, papillomas inside the ducts, fibroadenomas, then staying in the open sun is generally prohibited.
You should not stay in the sun and with some gynecological pathologies: fibroids, myomas, and endometriosis.
< p>There is no such thing as a healthy and useful tan. But if you have already decided to sunbathe, make sure you have a good sunscreen. There are no perfect ones, but we choose the best of what is available.
A good sunscreen should stay on the skin for several hours and prevent the effects of UV rays. The cream should not contain chemical factors: oxybenzone, abobenzone, octisalate, octocrylene, homosalate, octinoxate. Almost all of them are dangerous for the hormonal system, especially when combined with water.
Also follow basic rules: do not be in the sun at the peak of its activity – from 10 to 14 hours, cover the body as much as possible with clothing (shirt with a sleeve, pants), cover your head, wear glasses, use umbrellas on the beach.
And in general, try to sunbathe in the shade. Yes, such a tan will not give a chocolate shade, but it is much more useful and safer for the skin.
