Many people prefer to grow violets at home. These are beautiful plants that delight their owners with lush flowering and create coziness. But it happens that these houseplants stop blooming. There can be several reasons for this problem.

Soil

First of all, you need to pay attention to the soil. It should not be heavy. It is better to give preference to special purchased soil that is suitable for these plants.

Light and temperature

It is worth remembering about lighting. Violets are unlikely to bloom in a dark and cold corner. Too high a temperature is also not suitable. It is desirable that the room is between 18 and 24 degrees.

It is also advisable to avoid drafts. This fragile flower does not like them.

Feeding

If you overfeed the plant with nitrogen, all the energy will go into the leaves. Phosphorus and potassium stimulate flowering. During the flowering period, violets should be fed once every two weeks.

Watering

You should not water flowers in the house with cold water that has just been drawn from the tap. The liquid should stand and be at room temperature.
