Why watering plants with warm water can significantly reduce yields

Without timely and competent watering, you cannot get a good harvest. Every gardener knows this. At the same time, more and more summer residents believe that only warm water should be used for the procedure. But this solution is not entirely correct.

Details

As some experts claim, if you water the beds with cool water, you can increase the yield.

This is justified by the fact that low temperatures (about 15 degrees) are required to dissolve a larger amount of carbon dioxide. In warm water, the substance will dissolve less.

Also, the roots of some crops feel better when watered with cool water.

For example, potatoes form better if the soil temperature is not higher than 20 degrees.

Moreover, the root system of most popular garden crops requires a soil temperature of 15 degrees.

At the same time, it is important to remember that you cannot water plants with ice water, as well as overheated water (about 30-40 degrees).
