A full-time student cannot lose his deferment from mobilization if he is officially employed. Representatives of the TCC and SP, if the need arises, can communicate with a conscript, conscript or reservist through a higher education institution.

The procedure for granting a postponement is regulated by the Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 560, and the grounds are determined by Article 23 of the Law of Ukraine “On Mobilization preparation and mobilization,” attorney Andriy Karpenko reported on the legal portal.

One of the visitors to the portal asked how long they currently grant a deferment for higher education, since the student plans to get an official job. She said that her husband is studying full-time, getting his first higher education, a bachelor's degree. He has updated his credentials, but has not yet applied for a postponement.

Andriy Karpenko drew attention to the fact that the man is on military registration at the university. If necessary, it is through the ZVO that representatives of the TCC and SP can communicate with him.

“Official work in your case will not affect the possibility of TCC and JV to find your husband.” For the period of training, your husband has the right to deferment from mobilization,” he said.

The lawyer drew attention to the fact that the validity period of the deferment from being drafted for mobilization is determined in connection with appropriate grounds. Every time mobilization is extended by presidential decree, a corresponding application must be sent to the TCC and SP.

Deferral from mobilization – how students can confirm their right

Ukrainian students and postgraduates who are studying full-time or a dual form of education cannot be mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In order to receive a deferment from mobilization, a student must:

1. study on a full-time or dual form of education;
2. obtain an education with an educational degree no lower than the one he already has.< /li>

In addition, the conscript should submit to the territorial center of recruiting and social support certificates that confirm studying at a higher education institution.
