Some drinks negatively affect the health and appearance of women over 40.
After 40, changes related to hormonal changes begin to occur in the body of women, which affect their well-being, appearance, and weight. At this age, you should carefully monitor your diet and take into account the composition of foods and drinks. Medical experts advised 40-year-old women to drink enough clean water and minimize the consumption of drinks such as soda and coffee.
In particular, dermatologist Nadir Kazi noted that coffee can negatively affect the condition of the skin, contribute to its early wilting and age a woman prematurely.
“Coffee is one of the most acidic and dehydrating drinks, which is full of toxins that make the skin dry and dehydrated, especially with frequent use. Caffeine can give the necessary boost of strength, but its constant use deprives the skin of elasticity and reduces its natural radiance,” the dermatologist said.
For women who do not want to give up coffee, the specialist recommended controlling the amount, washing it down with water, and also drinking it “pure”, without adding sweet ingredients and cream. According to the doctor, it is better for women over the age of 40 to get into the habit of drinking green tea in the morning, which he called the “drink of youth.”
“Green tea contains antioxidants that prevent inflammation, redness, and swelling of the skin. It not only saturates the skin with rich antioxidants, but also stimulates the production of collagen,” the expert explained.
As for carbonation, its chemical ingredients contribute to the active leaching of trace elements – the same minerals that play a large role in maintaining women's health and attractiveness.
