You can sleep without a pillow only under one condition
Medics know of only one case when it is necessary to sleep without a pillow. In all other cases, a pillow is indispensable for healthy sleep. We are talking about newborns up to two months. They should sleep without a pillow so that the spine is properly formed. In the first months, the child's spine is easily bent due to the slightest irritants.
In other cases, doctors recommend using a pillow for sleep, as it not only makes the sleeping place comfortable, but also reduces the risk of dangerous diseases. It is about chronic lack of sleep, decreased concentration, snoring, ischemic stroke and osteochondrosis.
It is noteworthy that an incorrectly selected pillow can also cause health problems. Somnologists advise not to choose too soft or too hard pillows.
